The Oleson Family

Troy Oleson picked up snowmobiling at a young age. He’s still at it a generation later, only now he goes snowmobiling with his own kids.

The Olesons are a family of snowmobilers running four generations deep. Troy picked up the passion from his father and grandfather as a youngster, and now he and his wife are passing it down to their three boys. Their love for Ski-Doos goes beyond riding — it’s about bonding, though the youngest Olesons might not yet have grasped that part of it yet. “I like to go fast,” seven-year-old Calvin says. The older Olesons? They’re trying to slow things down and savor these precious moments.
