Community Event
Bayview Boating orchestrated a community event with a noble cause, aiming to raise funds for the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI). The action-packed day kicked off with a Jetski run, commencing from the Pumphouse meeting spot in St Francis Bay at 8:00 in the morning.
Participants were encouraged to arrive with full tanks of fuel, and a convenient fill and fetch service was on-site to assist those in need. The inclusivity of the event extended to all Jetski enthusiasts, who were welcomed to join the run. To add a spirited touch, riders were encouraged to don green and gold attire in support of the South African rugby team, the Springboks, as the nation celebrated a public holiday following their victorious 2023 Rugby World Cup win.
In the spirit of giving, riders contributed a 100-entrance fee, serving as a donation to the NSRI, who were present on-site, ready for any emergencies or assistance beyond the shore break. The event saw the participation of about 30 SeaDoo Jetskis, ensuring that everyone enjoyed a safe and exhilarating ride while contributing to a worthy cause.
