We purchased a Can-Am Traxter, which is in a completely different league to the rest of the utility vehicles on the market. We have found the vehicle to be a lot more reliable and it travels the land much better. It is a really a good machine to have on the farm.

We added a canopy to the back of the Traxter because we do quite a lot of gathering, so we can keep the dogs undercover.

Recently, we also purchased the Can-Am Traxter HD8, which we have used for a multitude of jobs ranging from fencing and walling to feeding the livestock. It’s really easy to load the Traxter with bags of Proven and heavy stones, as it handles the load really well – much better than our old utility vehicle did.

In terms of ATV, we have a Can-Am Outlander 450 PRO. It’s a lot more nimble to us than the utility vehicles. Travels the lands really well, has all the power and grip you need and is really comfortable.

When we work with the dogs to move the sheep, the dogs can hear and see us a little bit better when we’re in the Traxter so gatherings are much easier and quicker.
It's also very practical with its effective LINQ system for accessories that makes changing them really quick and easy. From the basket that allows us to move bags of Proven to the clutches to carry tools for fencing, it does it all.
