FROM BIG STAGES TO QUIET NATURE

Floor Jansen has been singing in bands since 1997. She sprung to worldwide recognition as the lead singer of Finnish metal band Nightwish. Ever since joining the band in 2012, Floor has toured the world on a yearly basis. She lives in the Swedish countryside together with her partner, Hannes van Dahl, where they share their love of the outdoors and having relaxing activities to do between tours.

Hannes van Dahl, like his partner Floor, is a touring musician. He started on the bass at age 10, but professionally he plays the drums, currently for the Swedish band Sabaton. While both he and Floor tour the big cities around the world, he says he's a countryside boy at heart, so their home in the peace and quiet of nature is perfect for him.
