AMERICAN CASEY CURRIE RACES IN THE DAKAR
Born into a racing family, there’s no question Casey Currie has long possessed the drive to build a name for himself in motorsport. Growing up in Anaheim Hills, California, Casey was obsessed with anything mechanical, and at 5 years old he was racing motorcycles.
Now 34 and racing in the 2019 Dakar Rally for the first time, Casey will have to put all of his lessons to work for Monster Energy Can-Am. Before becoming a Can-Am racer in 2016, he’d already won off-road desert races with motorcycles, trucks, and buggies. There isn’t enough space to list his off-road accomplishments: fans of the MDR Series, Baja 1000, SuperMoto, King of the Hammers, Lucas Oil Off-Road Series, and Monster Jam have already watched Casey race for wins and championships.
When he’s not on the road, racing, or building off-road vehicles, he's spending time with family or playing in the dirt with friends—with Jeeps, dirt bikes, SSVs, mountain bikes, whatever—as long as it’s off road
